Rules

Rules may be updated in due time if needed.
Failing to comply with the rules, will be taken into serious consideration against your participation.

General Rules:

• All event-related queries are handled on Discord, so once registered join the channel for more information.


• You are welcome to register as a team of five, but if you register as a solo participant, we will combine you with other solo participants to make a team of five for the match. We will form the teams in consideration that they will all be balanced at the game level.


• The match schedule for round-1 will be made available on the discord and our website by 10 am on 28-8-2021. The match schedule for the next round will be announced 10 minutes prior to each round. No alterations to the schedule will be considered.


• The event starts at 12:00 pm on 28-08-2021, so please be on time.


• We will conduct all rounds in continuation on 28-08-2021 with small breaks in between, so please plan the day’s agenda accordingly.


• The matches will be played in custom mode, and the selection of players will be done via fcfs (no excuses if you miss your favorite character).


• The OWASPVIT will provide two spectators for each match to maintain decorum. He/She will be the immediate point of contact for u during the match. It is mandatory to follow the instructions of the member.


• Technical problems, internet issues, etc. during the match are solely the responsibility of the participant, so please check all the points before the match begins.


• A spin wheel system will be used to select the map. This will ensure absolute transparency.


• During the match, players are allowed to use team VC and chat for some casual chats among themselves. Kindly don’t spam in the channel. Use of abusive/vulgar language is strictly prohibited.


• The winners of each round will automatically proceed to the next round. In case if an odd number of teams qualifies for a round, then the team with the highest average combat score will proceed to the next round without playing the match again.

Basic Roleplay Rules:

• The decision of OWASPVIT members will be final and abiding. Disrespecting us or our decision would be taken into serious consideration.
